Richard Gleeson

Creating immersive designs for many years within the design industry, and a demonstrated history of evolving as a creative professional from traditional graphic design into the heady world of UI, UX and Web Design. Freelancing for much of my career, I have worked in-house directly with clients, becoming a valued and trusted member of design and technical teams through key projects. Unafraid of any design challenge, I have worked with top names including Princess Cruises, Casio and Digital Butter HK in the creation of high-quality design assets and digital/app solutions. I am heavily connected to design trends and use mastery in Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD to deliver fully realised, high-quality graphic assets.

Having studied UI Design, I have been successful in the creation of polished UI designs, including for Fanatics Fantasy MMA. I draw on user research to create an aesthetic that is both visually engaging, and functional.


I am well versed in designing mock-ups, using wireframes, prototypes, and user testing to product final solutions. This aspect of my work has also strengthened my skills as a Web Designer, where I have created responsive designs for top companies including The Top Villas. I reflect brand guidelines, standards and vision throughout the design process.

Qualifying as a Graphic Designer in 2005 (Southampton Solent), I have truly tested my metal in creating visually impactful graphics for print, digital and social. My skills range from photo retouching through to creating full corporate identities that boost business.
